Embracing Self-Compassion: Building Inner Strength and Resilience
Self-compassion is a powerful tool for maintaining emotional well-being, especially in the demanding field of higher education. In this session, we will examine the concept of self-compassion, its components, and the research supporting its benefits. Participants will engage in exercises to develop self-compassionate attitudes and behaviors, learning how to treat themselves with kindness and understanding during times of stress and challenge. This session aims to help educators foster a supportive inner dialogue and enhance their resilience.
