The CELT Exemplary Service Award for Leadership in Advancing Teaching and Learning at ISU is presented annually to recognize and celebrate one to three ISU faculty, staff, or administrators who have demonstrated:

  1. Sustained university commitment to advancing teaching and learning at ISU.
  2. Significant and long-standing support for or leadership in CELT events and programs.
  3. Individual excellence in teaching ISU students through classroom teaching, high-impact practices, and mentoring.

Term of service at Iowa State University must exceed 10 years. Current CELT staff and faculty are excluded from receipt of the award. The CELT Exemplary Service Award for Leadership in Advancing Teaching and Learning at ISU is an honorary recognition selected by the CELT Senior Leadership Team.
