Using the Science of Learning to Empower Your Teaching
February 6 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
In our first session of The Science of How Students Learn series, we will provide an overview of some basic neuroscience, including the process of memory formation and transfer, and how memories can be strengthened for retention. We’ll discuss some learning strategies that work in harmony with the brain, optimizing students’ ability to remember and retrieve information. Attendees will learn how to incorporate these strategies into their classes so that students have a better chance of recalling information on their exams and retaining it in the future.
