Critical AI in Education: Empowering Educators to Navigate AI Literacy, Ethics, and Pedagogical Practices

April 16 @ 11:00 am - 11:50 am

Free

As AI rapidly reshapes education, the need for critical engagement with its ethical, pedagogical, and practical implications has never been greater. This talk will explore Critical AI in Education, highlighting our work on the Miller Faculty Fellowship project and broader efforts to develop educators’ AI literacy. We will discuss pedagogical approaches for preparing educators to thoughtfully integrate AI into their teaching, balancing innovation with ethical responsibility and meaningful learning outcomes. Moving beyond the hype, this session fosters critical conversations and actionable pathways for AI adoption in teacher education and professional practice.
