Designing for Neurodiversity with Multimedia Learning
April 10 @ 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm
Discover course design concepts that break down barriers for neurodivergent students and engage all learners. Using Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning (CTML) principles, we’ll explore practical strategies to minimize cognitive load, focus student attention, and foster meaningful connections with course concepts. Through learning activities and real-world examples, we’ll apply CTML principles that address diverse cognitive processing needs to ensure presentations, Canvas pages, and other instructional methods reach all students.
