Well-Being Community of Practice

The Well-Being Community of Practice is for instructors interested in embedding well-being into ISU environments, practices, and culture. The purpose of this community is to:
- Enhance faculty and staff knowledge, skills, and competencies in well-being and student success.
- Build institutional capacity to learn and apply practices to transform environments, practices, and culture toward well-being Support instructors who are teaching large enrollment courses.
- Creation of knowledge for embedding well-being in learning environments, practices, and culture.
Mindfulness & Self-Care in Teaching
Dr. Alissa Stoehr (ISU, Women’s and Gender Studies) will share practical teaching strategies that promote mindfulness and self-care for students and instructors alike.
