Well-Being Community of Practice Book Circle: The Peak Performing Professor
March 26 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Free
Are you maxed out? Wondering how to balance the many demands of your profession while also trying to keep yourself in-tact? Join us for a five-session book circle as we investigate Dr. Susan Robison’s book, The Peak Performing Professor. Robison eschews common time management tips to promote productivity in favor of “a life management system to weave (your) professional and personal roles into a seamless garment of productivity and satisfaction.” Robison also affirms that the rewards of a faculty career are only attainable if you care for your own wellness along the way. Join the Well-Being Community of Practice to maximize your own purpose, power, social support, and energy.
The first 15 people to RSVP before Monday, March 10th will get a copy of the book delivered to their office via campus mail.
If you need a reasonable accommodation, you may find more information on the University Human Resources Disability Accommodation page. For graduate student assistants and undergraduate students, please get in touch with Student Accessibility Services.
** After you’ve RSVP’d, please take a moment to add this event to your calendar. Once registrations reach capacity, we will begin a waitlist.
