SUMMARY:Applying the Quality Matters Rubric (APPQMR)
DESCRIPTION:The Applying the Quality Matters Rubric (APPQMR) workshop focuses on the QM Rubric and its use in reviewing the design of online and hybrid courses. It is intended for a broad audience\, including but not limited to faculty\, instructional designers\, and administrators. \n\nIn addition to learning about the QM Rubric and the course review process\, participants will learn to apply the concept of alignment and draft helpful recommendations for course improvement. \nThe APPQMR workshop is the prerequisite for the Peer Reviewer Course\, which is the required course to become a QM-Certified Peer Reviewer.\n \nThis is an online\, asynchronous course that runs for a two-week period between November 4 and November 18. It will be facilitated by Todd Vens\, CELT Instructional Designer and Quality Matters Coordinator\, Facilitator\, and Peer Reviewer. \n\n\nRecommended For\n* Those looking to understand the QM Rubric and course review process.\n* Those who wish to complete the Higher Ed Peer Reviewer Course.\n\nLearning Objectives\n1.
