2025 Submissions

At Iowa State University, the spirit of appreciation and gratitude is alive and well, and the yearly #CyThx campaign is designed to shine a spotlight on those who make a difference in our lives. It’s a simple way to say thank you to the people who have made a positive impact on your day, your semester, or even your life.

This year, we collected over 1,900 #CyThx submissions representing 112 units at Iowa State.

In 2024, we collected over 2,000 #CyThx submissions representing 171 units at Iowa State. In 2023, we received over 1,900 #CyThx submissions, a significant increase from our inception in 2021 of 300 submissions.

#CyThx encourages students, faculty, and staff to express their gratitude and acknowledge the acts of kindness, encouragement, and inspiration that often go unnoticed. It is a collaborative recognition project between the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT), Graduate and Professional Student Senate, ISU Learning Communities, Multicultural Student Affairs, Student Engagement, Student Government, and Student Union Board.
